There can be much noticed each day regarding accumulation that could even be
overwhelming, whether it be for admirable reasons or of futile purposes. God knows
the heart better than anyone else! There is nothing that escapes His sight! He is
totally aware of your every action and motive. Pressures that bombard to expend
may cause strain and hurt that is beyond explanation. The better blessing comes
with giving that is with genuine heart and mind, not of force or guilt that ultimately
amounts to grudge (that is, a state of reluctance). It is also of importance to realize
that giving is not to be done out of a compulsive manner. So, there has to be a
determination made in trust that the Holy Spirit’s guidance will operate in such a way
in our lives to be wise in every decision to give. If this action is completed in the
true Spirit of God, the blessing secured is with the confidence that God always
supplies what we need to be a blessing. We exercise even more faith whenever
we commit ourselves beyond what our own thinking would even allow. It is an
astonishing perception to give beyond what you feel that you are able at the stake
of your very livelihood. So, no one should take advantage of another; but, with
an understanding of what God expects from us according to what we have, we
are not to be overly concerned about what we do not have; instead, there is to
be a willingness to give of what we do have. For, God sees the whole personality
and knows the final outcome of one’s life. Give thoughtful attention to what
Jesus was saying in observation of how someone who gave the least amount
out of having very little compared to those who gave out of all their success.
He stated to His disciples the significance of her giving. If all this importance
on giving helps those in whatever need there is in this life materially, could you
really take the time to understand an even greater importance of how God loves
us so much that He wants our attention to the Spiritual matters? Jesus did all
that for us, give attention to this sermon entitled, “Giving Your All”.
