The display of our lives may often stir up ridicule whenever we completely
place all our attention toward reaching others for Jesus. As devoted followers
of Jesus, we might even be described as fanatical. Though being insulted and
suffering ill-treatment, we must continue to rely upon God to stay strong and
unashamed of the gospel message of truth; for, in it contains all the hope of
eternal life. The persecutions that many struggle with could also be to the
extent of a procession toward a torturing leading to death. The public
spectacles as what occurred also in the former times that was mentioned
in the Holy Bible (see Hebrews 10:32-33) discusses the facts to remember
how those days were for them being spiritually enlightened and the sufferings
they endured well as a realization of God’s judgment which is sound concerning
dealing with all enemies of the knowledge of the truth. The spiritual insight
brought about a strong stand despite of the challenges with the entailment
to really see what one is made of in terms of perseverance to the obtaining
of the real blessings ahead. In conditions of today, the actual success is the
effort put into action to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord in the sweet
(that is, pleasant) continuance in the love of God. It is a pleasing “aroma” to God
that is incomparable to earthly rituals of sacrifice which could not make one
complete in the righteous standing with God. This pleasing scent of goodness
is beyond the comprehension of the natural understanding of those who do
not accept it and are in contempt of God, for they are perishing in sin and
will be condemned in the sight of God; but for those who accept this mar-
velous quality that affects the senses is the knowledge based on faith to
realize with a strong conviction (which is strong belief) to the saving of the
soul. Thus the grand plan of God (Who already knew ahead of time the
genuine victory we have in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior) would be an
amazement to those who believe; yet astonishing to those who do not.
We therefore need to: remain steady in course and settled in promise;
staying true to God and His Word, understanding that He is real and
holds all life! Without Him, we would be helpless and hopeless!
