The tragic results of not trusting in God are evident throughout all scripture. What would be unleashed in judgment in the Tribulation period would be of a magnitude of mass proportions beyond anything that ever occurred before. The evil counterfeit, that is, the Antichrist, will exercise the greatest influence of deception than any previous attempt of human endeavors in order to gain power over those who follow his demonic actions. It is vital, therefore, to take notice that these events are an act of God’s planned judgment upon those who have rejected the truth of His Word of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ (depicted as the Lamb) who holds the honor of opening the book containing these judgments that would swiftly take place. So then He would be seen as the Lion over the nations in God’s righteous wrath poured out upon the unrepentant who have rejected the truth of His Word. The spotless Lamb of God, who has taken away all sin of those believing in His grace, grants His mercy today to those who faithfully rely upon Him to live a life of victory over any sinful tendencies. As Christians, we are to look forward with great anticipation of our Lord’s return in the realization of His redeeming blood of atonement that gave our right standing with God so that we be spared from the time of God’s wrath that would take place later. It is with much prayer that we must remain steadfast in our profession of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ with an unwavering conviction of truth in the way we conduct our lives; as, we should most certainly be led by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we must behave accordingly! All of our strength and stability to live in God’s holy way is derived from the fact that as His children we are grounded in His love, so we must therefore walk in His ways according to His Word in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!
