Statements affirmed in the words penned in the account of the gospel of Luke were continued to the putting forth of God’s Word in the Acts Of The Apostles. As we take note of the end of the book of Luke, after Jesus arose from the dead, He walked with two who were in sorrow of the death of Jesus and were in question of what had occurred, for what they expected from Him was redemption. It was not until He had broken bread with His blessing and gave it to them, that they recog- nized Who He was. As Jesus vanished out of their sight, then each of the two ques- tioned themselves as to what they were feeling in the stirring of heart in how Jesus explained to them the scriptures that the prophets had spoken of in the necessity for Christ’s suffering before His entering into His majesty and splendor. With this pas- sage, one can be certain that close observation to the truth of scripture reveals exactly what God had planned to take place for the purpose of His salvation. It is further noted that within the meal of fellowship, Jesus made it plain that it was He Who they were truly expecting, for every doubt is dispelled with the presence of the Savior, and His very Word brings peace to one’s mind. His Word not only revealed but also fulfilled makes the way of truth blessed in the genuine working of the Holy Spirit within one’s life to the productivity of use that benefits the body of believers to boldly proclaim the authority of the name of Jesus. The power of His name invoked brings deliverance and strength to obey His commands that we may remain in the place of blessing and share His love with others in testimony of how He transformed us in the likeness of His love to the saving of our soul. Considering the facts of Christ Jesus with His ascension into heaven, with His order to wait for the promise, we are to hold true to the Holy Spirit as our comfort each day ahead with expection of His return for us that will change our earthly bodies into a body suitable to His likeness that we may behold His glory forever. While we tarry on this earth: may our hearts be sound in honesty, our minds prepared for action with careful moral standing; Nonparticipate of: wildness of revelry, lewdness of behavior, and dissensions with Jealousy. We must desire the Holy Spirit with such a fervency that thirsts for His presence to saturate our lives so as to fill us to the full capacity of service to the refreshing of our lives and to the leading of others to that life giving source Who provides us with eternal life to come. May You be tremendously blessed by watching, “Yield To the Holy Ghost Power”. LaNora G. Means
