Each and every day of your life is important to God; for, if He regarded His
creation in such marvelous detail, He certainly takes notice of every single part
of your being! With a considerable amount of attention given to the creative work
of God, we see the beauty of His handiwork with the quality of perfection that He
intended for fellowship with His most valuable work, human life. Six days His
powerful word spoke into existence all things and the universe filled with everything
necessary for God’s will and the purpose that would be carried out in the plan
that would unfold miraculous salvation. “By the seventh day God completed His
work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work
which He had done.” (Genesis 2:2 NAS) So from here we can understand His
work finished and His blessing given to that day of rest with nature regarded
as the excellence of His work. As we believe with firm conviction in God’s mighty
power to use each day as He sees fit, should we not also take into account of the
fact of rest as being necessary to gather our thoughts to the importance of
God’s word as sound in His justice? Then as His grace prevailed to free us from
self-effort, we must then rely upon the rest God offered us through His Son
Jesus. We must also realize, that He gives strength to the weary, the worn out,
and the down and out! God brings lives out of bondage, so that healing may be
given to the broken! Whatever need you have, Jesus is the answer! In each and
every day He shows His love though the Holy Spirit with the goodness of His loving-
kindness toward His people that trust in Him. No matter what day of the week,
God’s work of healing overrules all other methods of human endeavors.
Whatever need any may have, He is always there to supply and even with the
hope of a better future with the acceptance of His provision in a better day
of rest ahead of those who believe. This life filled with all toil and labor as
we know it will soon be ended and in its place an eternal rest with a celebration
above and beyond any earthly standpoint. This was all made possible
because of the Resurrection of Jesus, Who gave us our hope in that eternal
rest that no day in this life as we know it now could ever contain. So reflect
on all that God has done for us as you watch, “Rest In Jesus By Knowing God”
