We encounter many obstacles in this life that really try our faith beyond what we may feel we can manage; but, God gives us the strength to endure by His mighty love and care He bestows to us. It is especially in these times when our trust in God needs to be more developed. For some, it may be health problems. It could even be situations involving so many factors that the solutions feel nearly impossible. Taking into consideration what we may face within the seasons of our lives, we may even be prone to allowing our thoughts to get the best of us instead of yielding our full attention to the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. We can certainly “…count it all joy…” (James 1:3 KJV) whenever these trials bombard our very existence. These various trials we face can actually be taken fully in view to that development of our faith that builds our endurance that we may remain steadfast in every circumstance no matter what we are facing at any particular time. All of this development is extremely important that we may be fully grown and completely sound and never lacking in the wisdom God extends to us in order that we stay true under the pressures of this life. As Christians, we must stay true to the name of Jesus, and always keep in mind that suffering for the cause of the gospel is worth it in the final outcome, and the total assurance of eternity with Him is secure. There is authority in the name of Jesus, and it is vital for us to understand the power invested in His name for deliverance and healing that He extends to us. So, even though the pressures of this life feels as though it squeezes us to the very limit of capacity, we can surely know that when we call out to Him in desperation, pleading that the cares of this life not overtake us, He will remind us of His favor and that His strength with all the power He has is made perfect “…(fulfilled and completed…)” (2 Cor. 12:9 AMP) and of course, is “most effective in” [our] weakness. Given such careful attention to the fact of how well the Lord hears our pleas, we need not to be alarmed under pressure; but instead, take notice to the fact that he comforts us through the strainful areas of time. When suffering occurs in our lives for His name’s sake, we must remember 1 Peter 4:14! Watch and listen to “Will You Be Counted Worthy?” LaNora G. Means
