If satisfaction was determined upon favorable circumstances, then we would often be disappointed; because, we don’t always have our way with how conditions are in this life. Impatience runs rampant and contentions also are widespread. But, there is good news that can make the heart rejoice in the midst of conflict: and that is, the joy of Christ Jesus in our lives, (that is, if you have accepted Him in your life, and live for His purposes). Being a peacemaker has the advantage of blessings in a result of such a pleasing way to God that we are identified by Him as being called His own. We are His children, as much as can be said that He is our Father that we look to for our prayers to be answered to help us with the challenges we face in this life. We will also see the end result in an outcome someday to the extent as “sons” in terms of heirship. For, we will be entitled to live and reign with Him forevermore. So, it is crucial that we understand what peace calls for. First of all, we need to to be reconciled with His Spirit, and that is settled when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, for He has delivered us from our sins. He then seals us with His Spirit giving us the ability to live the life that makes evident the peace living inside of us. Next, we can then be more fully equipped to establish peace with others with words and actions in such a way as to promote it by the love that Jesus commands us and expects of us as Christians. This can be done by staying true to God in the love of Jesus in a calm delight made possible by the Holy Spirit’s presence inside of us reminding us of the work of God upon our hearts and His Word of instruction in our minds of how to act and react in any given circumstance, that we show a proper love to others and a demeanor without reproach before God, Who is the divine Judge over all. We should always seek God’s help in every situation and put Him first in our lives in order that we may develop the fruit of the Spirit so we will mature and progress toward the attitude of gratitude that one day before Him we will not be ashamed when we give an account before Him of how we lived our life here below.
