Keeping attention upon the principles of God’s Word and focusing one’s thoughts with a meditative spirit affords one with a careful exam- ination of just where one is in terms of a faithful heart toward living a holy life. It is vital to keep one’s eyes centered upon Jesus; for, it is in Him that we have the ability to live outward what the Holy Spirit works inward. What is established within us certainly comes out in action, word, and deed. If harshness exists instead of gentleness, it breaks not only the wholesome relationship we are to have with God, but also the true fellowship that we are to have with one another. With kind words as a rule to follow, one will never go wrong utilizing wisdom on which sensible words are employed. Words engaged as in a combat bring harm and damage stirring hard feelings and broken hearts that could take a lifetime of healing. It is then a necessity to think and pray before opening our mouths; because, our spiritual health as well as our physical well-being stems from the inner depth of what we say. We should desire a growth of maturity that flourishes with a fruit bearing life. The stunted life hindered with corrupt words rots the demeanor and breaks apart what God would rather have growing strong. If only the right words are chosen in the understanding that God hears everything said anyhow, wouldn’t it be futher noted to choose words carefully allowing God to lead in saying what is right? It is extremely foolish for one not to heed sound instruction, and a disciplinary measure taken seriously molds one’s life to the fitting use God has planned for each. So where wealth is concerned, it is most prosperous to be upright in action of words enforced, that is, carried out to the proper way of speaking to the blessing of a life filled with joy in contrast to the unjust gain of a life given over to ruin. Watch an out loud blessing of God’s Work, hear how Jesus heals and makes strong in “The Righteous Shall Flourish”. LaNora G. Means
