Imagine how it would feel to be told to do something out of the ordinary that would look unusual to those around and contrary to one’s convictions of original belief. Ezekiel faced such a command by the Sovereign GOD that He would follow through with His instructions that the actual events that would take place would be information enough to make others aware that the truth of GOD prevails over human inclination. With strict adherence to particular customs, it must have been strange to lay it out in such a form as with sound reasoning it may sound foolish. GOD’s special people took pride in their heritage, but failed to realize that their true source and ultimate victory was affixed to what GOD’s plan would later unfold in the person and work of Jesus Christ, Whose foundation is more solid than anything that was ever built by human hands. The central locality and elevation that assembled praise to the people of GOD was shattered to devastation due to the lack of giving GOD the deserved attention to His presence in His active Divine will in seriousness of heart. This lack of commitment had its dire consequences in effect to the chastening of His people in order that they repent and turn to Him in obedience and live according to His standards. With these representations, the understanding of GOD’s prophetic Word would be clear even more with each fulfillment. The disgrace would be over- whelming and the mocking would be certain; however, GOD’s judment was sound and right to the discipline of those He allowed to survive for the existence of His promise made that His supremacy entailed. Although there would be a glimmer of hope far ahead, the time of captivity would remain certain in the Hand of the Almighty GOD. The famine and pestilence would cause a decline in the population within due to scarcity, and the sword of destruction was sure to overtake those without, and those who were scattered among the nations would live in fear. Such horrendous acts of violence and savage ways of hurt would take place that would disgust decent minds and bring sorrow to tender hearts. Throughout the ages in the fulfillment of events, Jesus told us that there would be worse atrocities to occur that would escalate till His Second Coming. The importance of living in His grace is necessary to the saving of one’s soul, and the assurance of His mercy is essential to the deliverance of one’s life before Him.
