The signs God used through Ezekiel illustrates purpose to open perception in order that an awareness of the events should signify the justice of God in effect. What was to portray the situation made clear the facts in the results of impending punishment. With the instructions clear of a plan laid out in a simulated form, the idea would be plain to the mind just how damaging the attack would be to take place with devastating consequences. These persistent attacks that would come against such a place that ordinarily was strong would weaken its defense so that the ability to defend it would be futile. We must keep this gesture in understanding of how God brings awareness to the senses that human attempts to come against what is seemingly fortified ruins those who are unprepared to repent and obey God to stay in a healthy relationship in proportion to what He expects so that security remains sure. The iniquities weakened the capacity of strength that blessings could have enabled deliverance; It would then take nothing short of the grace of God to restore what was broken into. Years of punishment would later give way to restoration; although the length of time would be challenging, God Himself in Jesus would know the outcome in a better healing than any earthly mentality or human endeavor that often only figures to the worst of ideas. God’s way is more fitting than unhealthy alliances that lead those astray from God’s promises. When in such captivity, trials faced brings reality to the fullest sense of mind and in reminiscence of all that has already occurred that could be reasoned out of response. Regarding those specific instructions God gave Ezekiel, it may very well be concluded that His response in that situation would allow one to think of such severity and scarcity in times of war that such separation sin causes to the people of God for disobedience to Him and lack of respect to the glory and honor that could only belong to Him. At such times, one could then take sure cognizance of one’s values that may be in jeopardy when all dignity seems lost to forced defilement, and the cutting off of supply that is needed would press one to rely upon God in a tremendous amount of faith in a source beyond oneself or that any other could afford. With every collection of thought on these matters, we must conclude that our minds should be centered upon God with strict adherence to what He says in the person and work of Jesus Christ in faithfulness to His Word to us to live according to His standards in the grace and love He gave!
