Veils of gloom overtake our thoughts in such times as grief strikes us. Some-
times even suddenly, our lives change course as if a strong wind blowing upon
water that shakes our thoughts and stirs our emotions to pour out tears as like
a vessel broken and crashing into something sharp then placing us in a position
of seeking a shelter beyond our own capacity. We search for victory; but instead,
it seems like defeat. We plead for comfort; but, it feels like a sorrow that’s too
much to bear. The enemy of gloom and death, however the hurt affects one’s
demeanor, God knows about what you are going through. What needs to be
kept in mind is that Jesus defeated death and triumphed in victory over the
grave giving us comfort to trust in the excellency of His might that blows away
sorrow as His loving redemption in the freedom from pain and the soothing of
broken heart, and He wipes away every tear even now as drying them with
His comfort as time goes along. There is a better day that awaits us to reunite
with the one’s who now in a moment of time is missing from our lives. The joy
and gladness beyond our time realm of sorrow we experience here below, in
each passing day that we pray that we make it to heal from the grieving in order
to encourage each other, that with the help of Jesus in our lives, we can make a
difference that truly counts. So, the drowning of sorrow that floods our thoughts
can actually clear a path to show an everlasting joy that makes us see
plainer, that with Jesus in our lives, we pass over on dry ground into a better
place that flourishes in the beauty beyond our earthly description could fathom
A place where no sorrow exists nor sighing of distress in the weariness of this
life, that in Christ Jesus, we are not to be uninformed about those in Him who
have went on before us as to be distressed over them with no hope beyond
the grave. In believing what Jesus had done for us, we know that we shall rise
also in the glorious body we long to have, knowing that “In a moment…” (that
is like a blink of an eye), as the mighty sound of the call used by God for the
transformed body to be raised to live forever; because, in God’s presence,
all mourning, crying, and pain will be ended, for the old order of things are
gone forever. Then in Christ Jesus, we can rejoice forever together, giving
Him praise! Bow your head in humility; yet, look up in expectancy!
