The atrocities of war could leave those sensitive to the effects of it either on guard with pain, fear, or helplessness; or perhaps, it may affect in such drastic proportions that the traumatic result would be one of not only physical injury but that of such mental strain that emotionally a sense of desensitization occurs within the mind of the individual causing anger, agitation, or else a bitterness that seemingly scars beyond what healing allows. All of these factors that absorb the thoughts from the human point of view are dismal and even life altering. There is hope however in a way that no one on this earth can touch! That is the answer that can only come through the One Who provided the greatest way through the deliverance and healing to overcome all obstacles of hurt. The answer is Jesus, for it is He Who takes the pain and in exchange for grief and sorrow replaces it with the reassurance that all is well with God to move on by relying upon His Spirit to soothe the broken heart. By truly realizing that seeking after any other source is futile, there is an acknowledgment that God certainly deserves attention above all else. Atmosphere should never be held in higher regard than God, much less offering up strange ways in terms of worship that promotes any observance that places an exaltation to any other than Whom it belongs, for the Lord holds it in His control in the first place. He searches out the very intentions; yet, judges righteously with the omnipotence of His might using whatever He sees fit to awaken those who have strayed from the upright purpose of His love. The day of ultimate wrath is sure to happen to the wicked, but the promise of His salvation is settled in heaven for those with the humble compliance to accept His mercy before it is too late. The great reckoning day will occur, so it of a necessity to heed the warning to remain steady in the course of action taken in this life that no overemphasis is place upon oneself nor what one can attain; but instead, the awareness that God is omniscient and omnipresent and understands the human heart in dealing with the outcome. So why not trust the One Who holds all things in existence and look to Him as He gathers the way He sees fit to handle every matter beyond human comprehension. It is by His Spirit that flows as is the wind that blows that brings about both judgment and mercy, as well as blessing and grace. Stay wrapped in His care with the life lived that is pleasing and wholesome in the goodness of His love. Don’t try to make it on your own, for it is in God in Whom we are to trust! “Seek The Lord Before It’s Too Late!” LaNora G. Means Continue
